Dear Members,

We have only just completed Finals Day but there is lots going on over the next few months so please put all these dates in your diaries:

Sunday October 8th

The final Ladder event of 2017 will start at 10.30am. The format will be Tie Break Tens. Please sign up by Saturday 7th using the sheet on the club notice board or by emailing Lee on leefranklin1@sky.com . There is a charge of £2 to enter.

Thursday October 19th

The club AGM takes place at the Pavilion at 7:30pm. More details will follow. There will be club play until 7:30pm.

Saturday October 28th

Friendly Doubles tournament starts at 2pm. You can turn up on the day to enter. This will be the first tournament of the year to count towards the Jenny Phillips and Gentlemen’s trophies.

Saturday November 4th

Now the clocks have changed our Winter Season begins with play starting at 1:30pm, and 3 courts available from 1pm for warm up.

Saturday November 18th

Children In Need fundraising day beginning with a ‘Play your cards right’ doubles tournament at 1:30pm. There will be a fish and chip supper and quiz in the evening at the Pavilion. More details to follow. Anyone with fundraising ideas please let Lee know.

Thursday December 14th

Christmas Meal at Bentleys restaurant. More details will be sent in a separate email or see the poster on the club notice board. Menu choices and payment to Colin by October 31st.

Saturday December 23rd

Christmas Tea at 3:30pm at the Pavilion with mince pies, mulled wine and carols.
